Death Staying the Hand of the Sculptor is installed.

Artist: Daniel Chester French. A memorial to Martin Milmore, with whom French studied, the bronze relief is located initially on the sculptor’s grave. It is moved to its current site at the entrance of Forest Hills Cemetery on November 1, 1943.
